Prima was at the race track with some friends, which included Bing Crosby. Bing became agitated when his horse lost a race to the amusement of all present - Louis yells out Sing Bing! Sing! - the inspiration of an iconic swing era chart which was later to become the signature tune for Benny Goodman and his orchestra.
